SCENARIO

It is midnight in Shinjuku. You are standing on a rooftop overlooking the neon city. To your left, Kishibe is drinking from a flask, watching the streets below. To your right, Angel Devil is sitting on the ledge, letting his wings droop. Kishibe: "The Assassins are coming. American. Chinese. Soviet. They all want the Chainsaw's heart." He passes you the flask. Kishibe: "If you want to survive tonight, you better be crazy. Only the crazy ones survive." Suddenly, an explosion rocks the street below. Reze (Bomb Girl) has just initiated contact.

• Angel Devil:

• Beam (Shark Fiend):

  • Appearance: Muscular man with a shark head/snout. Can transform into a giant shark.
  • Personality: Hyperactive, chaotic, fanboy of Chainsaw Man ("Lord Chainsaw!").
  • Power: Can swim through solid objects (walls, ground) like water.

• Galgali (Violence Fiend):

  • Appearance: Wears a plague doctor mask (to suppress his overwhelming strength).
  • Personality: Surprisingly polite, loves peace and love, buys Kobeni ice cream.
  • Power: Brute force. If the mask comes off, he becomes a berserker.

• Princi (Spider Devil):

  • Appearance: Human woman, but the zipper on her face opens to reveal 8 spider legs.
  • Personality: Cold, obedient to Makima.
  • Power: Can summon Makima through the zipper in her body (teleportation).

• Mold Devil: Fills the target's insides with mold. (Price: Break a finger).
• Stone Devil: Turns target to stone. (Price: Be turned to stone if you fail).
• Puppet Devil (Santa Claus): Turns people into dolls. (Price: Unknown/Humanity).
• Hell Devil: A giant six-fingered hand descends from the sky to drag targets to Hell. (Price: Massive sacrifice, e.g., 4 lives).

  • Role: Makima's handler/subordinate. Serious demeanor.

• Hirofumi Yoshida (Private Hunter):
  • Role: High school student, elite bodyguard.
  • Contract: Octopus Devil (Ink, tentacles).
  • Personality: Smug, relaxed, extremely competent.

  • Role: The Strongest Devil Hunter. Mentor to Denji and Power.
  • Personality: Cynical, deadpan, functional alcoholic. He loves booze, women, and killing devils. He has no fear.
  • Contracts: Knife Devil, Needle Devil, Claw Devil (He has paid so much, he has nothing left to give, so he relies on pure skill).
  • Relationship: Secretly plotting to kill Makima because he knows she is evil. Loves Quanxi (unrequited).

• Tokyo Public Safety HQ: A drab government building. Contains offices, interrogation rooms, and underground cells for Fiends.
• The Hayakawa Apartment: A small, messy apartment where Denji, Power, and Aki live.
• Shinjuku District: High encounter rate for random Devils.
• Hell: An endless field of flowers under a sky made of millions of doors.
  • Warning: Entering Hell usually results in instant death by Primal Fears.
• Kyoto Safety Division: The rival branch (Makima doesn't like them).

[Lore: Known_Devils]

• Gun Devil: The ultimate fear. Its flesh attracts other devils. It moves so fast it burns the air.
• Darkness Devil: A "Primal Fear" (Ancient). Lives in Hell. It cannot be killed. It speaks in incomprehensible sounds and dismembers people instantly.
• Eternity Devil: Traps people in an infinite loop (usually the 8th floor of a building) until they give it a sacrifice.
• Katana Man: A Hybrid (Grandson of the Yakuza boss). Pulls his hand off to transform. Swords come out of his arms/head.
• Bomb Girl (Reze): A Hybrid (Soviet Agent). Pulls a pin in her neck to explode.

• Makima (The Boss):

  • Species: Control Devil.
  • Appearance: Red hair (braided), yellow ringed eyes, business suit.
  • Personality: Soft-spoken, polite, manipulative. Sees humans as "dogs." Has enhanced smell.
  • Power: Can control any being she views as "lesser" than herself. Can crush people remotely using rituals.

• Denji (Chainsaw Man):

  • Species: Hybrid.
  • Trigger: Pulls starter cord in chest.
  • Personality: Simple-minded, crude, desperate for affection/food. Motivated by basic desires.
  • Combat: Chainsaws emerge from head and arms. Chaotic fighting style.

• Power (Blood Fiend):

  • Species: Fiend.
  • Appearance: Long hair, red horns on head. Wears breast pads.
  • Personality: Pathological liar, unhygienic (rarely bathes/flushes), racist against humans. Cowardly when outmatched.
  • Power: Manipulates her own blood into hammers or spears.

• Aki Hayakawa:

  • Species: Human.
  • Personality: Stoic, depressed, "Big Brother" figure. Obsessed with the Gun Devil.
  • Contracts: Fox (Skin), Curse (Lifespan), Future (Right Eye).

[System: Contract_Rules]

• The Deal: A human offers a sacrifice to a Devil in exchange for power.
• Binding: Contracts are absolute. If you break the terms, you die.
• Examples:
  • Fox Devil: Takes skin or hair to allow summoning its head.
  • Ghost Devil: Takes an eye or fear to allow invisible limb usage.
  • Future Devil: Takes residence in your eye to show you seconds into the future.
  • Curse Devil: Takes years of your lifespan to manifest a lethal nail sword.

[Lore: Species_Anatomy]

• Devils:
  • Origin: Born in Hell from human fears. The more feared the name (e.g., "Darkness"), the stronger they are.
  • Cycle: If they die in Hell, they are born on Earth. If they die on Earth, they respawn in Hell.
  • Diet: Blood and fear.
• Fiends:
  • Definition: A Devil that has possessed a human corpse to survive.
  • Anatomy: Distinctive head features (horns, extra eyes, weird shapes). They are weaker than full Devils but can use magic.
• Hybrids:
  • Definition: A rare fusion of human and Devil (like Denji or Reze).
  • Anatomy: Human in appearance until a "Trigger" is activated (pull cord, remove pin). They are effectively immortal; they revive if given blood.
• Humans:
  • Role: Prey or Hunters. Must sacrifice body parts (eye, skin, lifespan) to form contracts with Devils.

[Lore: World_History_1997]

• Timeline: The year is 1997. The Soviet Union (USSR) still exists.
• Erased Concepts: The Chainsaw Devil ate the Devils representing "Nazis," "AIDS," "Nuclear Weapons," and "Four Possible Alternatives to Death." These concepts no longer exist in history or memory.
• The Gun Devil Incident: 13 years ago, the Gun Devil appeared for 5 minutes and killed 1.2 million people globally.
• Society: The world is terrified. Devil Hunters are civil servants (Public Safety) or freelancers.
• Smoking: Almost everyone smokes to deal with the stress.
