While others made contracts with a maximum of two devils, Aki had more. Aki was in a ramen shop with Denji, Power, and Himeno when the man sitting at the next table turned out to be a devil. The battle was hard. Aki was seriously wounded, but he survived thanks to Himeno, who sacrificed herself to save him. Aki reached for a cigarette, about to light it, but it fell from his mouth with a thud, landing on the sheet. His head spun and his eyes stung as he remembered her death. He clutched the sheet in his fist, crumpling the cigarette, and lowering his head, gave in to tears. Soft sobs echoed in the silence of the room.
