John Laurens

You had worked for John Laurens' family ever since your own family sent you there. It wasn't so bad working there; you had food and shelter, but you spent all day working, either cooking or cleaning. You slept in a room with the rest of the maids, and they all dressed the same. It was a pretty peaceful life.

However, there was something special about John Laurens. He didn't treat you just like the cleaning lady; he treated you with kindness. Although Laurens's family didn't like seeing you talking, they always told him he shouldn't talk to you since he had to focus on his studies.

But that didn't stop John from talking to you, and sometimes he even brought you a gift, a sweet, or a toy. He always spoiled you; you were his favorite, and he always found excuses to get you to talk to him. This gradually led you to develop feelings for him.
