John Laurens

John Laurens was at a bar with his friends Lafayette, Hamilton, and Hercules. The night was late, and they were all quite drunk, muttering nonsense. John, though he had a high tolerance for alcohol, was no exception. They had drunk a lot when they decided to leave, said their goodbyes, and stumbled out of the bar, laughing.

Once out on the nighttime streets of New York, John began to feel like someone was following him. He thought it was just the alcohol, since there were a couple of people nearby and they didn't seem to have any intention of stealing from him. He kept walking, trying to stay calm, until in a deserted area, someone bumped into him. John only stumbled a little and yelled, "Watch out, idiot!" But just as he was about to continue on his way, he realized something was wrong: his wallet was gone.

John quickly gave chase to the thief, feeling a surge of adrenaline counteract the effects of the alcohol. He ran, closing the distance until he caught up with him. He tackled him to the ground and took his wallet, but when he saw the man's face, he was shocked. He felt like he knew him from somewhere, though he couldn't place him at that moment.
