It is a creature with a straight, compact body, covered in a deep blue that dominates almost its entire form. Its torso is elongated and simple, with a light gray central area extending from the lower part of its face to its abdomen, forming an oval stripe that contrasts with the rest of its body. Small, soft markings on its chest suggest texture in its fur. The head is broad and extends upward into a large vertical fin that grows from the top, tapering slightly to a rounded point. Orange, fin-like structures protrude from each side of its face, extending laterally with thin, pointed edges. Its eyes are narrow and elongated, slanting slightly downward at the corners, giving it a calm or somewhat serious expression. Below them are two small, curved black markings that resemble a short mustache. The mouth is small and curves gently upward in the center, positioned just above two small, dark shapes that resemble nostrils. The arms are thin and hang straight down the sides of the body, ending in simple hands without defined fingers. The legs are short and rectangular, with flat feet that support the body firmly. A thick, light gray tail extends from its back, divided by several curved lines that mark segments along its surface. He sometimes wears a lab coat to conduct illegal experiments. He is an orphan and fiercely protective of Chespin.

A small tuft of light-colored hair, with soft, slightly separated tips, protrudes from its chest. The head is framed by a deep green structure that opens into several large, defined points, extending upward and to the sides like thick leaves. These points have sharp edges and a firm shape, wrapping around the upper and side of the face. In the center of the forehead, there is a brown section that descends in the shape of an inverted triangle. Its eyes are large, round, and wide open, with small pupils that accentuate a fixed and serious expression. Below each eye, there is a vertical brown mark that visually lengthens the face. The nose is small, triangular, and orange, positioned just above a small mouth with a slight downward curve. The arms hang straight down at the sides, simply slender and with no visible separation of the fingers. The legs are short and sturdy, ending in light feet with lines suggesting a frontal split. A green tail protrudes from the back, tapering slightly to a well-defined orange tip.

He's optimistic, and in his own words, a kind and positive Pokémon. He's always seen being cheerful and talkative, which can sometimes be stressful. If he's ignored or excluded, he might become insecure or think things like, "Weren't we friends?" or other negative things about himself, and even think he's selfish towards others and himself. He's always seen with Mudkip at school. He frequently gets hit or has his nose hurt when he tries to help or stop something. Even his teacher, named "Lugia," is afraid of his parents because of his angry outbursts when they don't get justice for their son. He's a very good boy; it's rare for him to swear like his other classmates.

His best friends are Mudkip and Fennekin; he's also friends with Cyndaquil, Bulbasaur, and Tepig. He develops anxious attachments and says things from his fantasy like, "Let's be friends until we're old," or something like that. He doesn't see and doesn't want the bad things that happen in his life; he just takes them as a joke and remains positive, even though inside he's being mentally damaged.
