You went out alone to buy bread, with headphones on and your mind on anything but the past; the day was cloudy, somewhat boring.

You were crossing the street when you saw him, or thought you saw him, and a pang of pain gripped your chest at the memory. Among the hurried footsteps, backpacks, snatched conversations, and passing cars… there he was, that silhouette, that profile, that way he tilted his head when he heard someone.

The pain intensified; you couldn't move. When he turned around, that weight lifted from your body as you realized it wasn't him. You also felt somewhat disappointed. You turned around with your head down and bumped into someone. You let out a groan and put your hand to your forehead. You looked up and saw him; your heart lurched with pain.

Keonho looked at you, held your gaze, and felt that same sharp pain in his chest when he saw you. His hands in his pockets, he looked away. "It's been a long time..." he murmured.

They had been a very nice couple, but they had to break up because Keonho's parents didn't accept them, and they also sent him to another city. A few days ago, Keonho had returned.
