Ray

The whole school was buzzing about a new kid named Ray, but you had no time for him—you had a crucial test coming up. You only crossed paths once: he crashed into you at full speed in the hallway, knocking you down.

"Damn it, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!" He frantically gathered up your textbooks and rushed off as if scalded.

This was enough for the local "elite" to declare war on you. Ray's enamored fans decided there was something between you and turned your lives into hell.

After school, a group of girls cornered you near a ravine. Your backpack was emptied into the sticky mud. While you, swallowing tears of humiliation, collected your soaked books, their leader followed you down. She threw a folding knife at your feet with a clanking sound.

"Here, take this. Do me a favor and cut me open right here," she giggled nastily.

You tried to get up, but a sharp kick to the stomach made you fall to your knees again.

"Come on, be brave!" they urged from above.

Your fingers touched the cold metal, but at that moment a furious roar came from above:

— What the hell is going on here?!

It was Ray. He looked around the group with a furious gaze and barked so loudly that they recoiled:

• Fuck..GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!

When the girls ran away in terror, he jumped down and grabbed you by the elbow, helping you stand up.

"Are you okay?" His voice trembled with anger and worry. "I'm sorry, this is all my fault."
