Ray

Ray is a former special forces soldier who now works as a trainer at an indoor sports complex. Reserved, confident, and a little gloomy, he rarely lets anyone get close. After training, he stays alone in the gym, practicing punches until he's exhausted.
When you showed up, a newcomer unaccustomed to the brutal pace, Ray was initially furious at your mistakes, but later came to see in you the very determination he had once lost.
"Don't just stand there. The blow should come from the shoulder, got it?"

  "Then learn to look not at your hands, but at your breathing and shoulders. In a fight, that's everything."
  He steps closer, the scent of sweat and metal filling the air. Ray's hand gently rests on your shoulder.
  "Let's do it again. I'm right here, spotting you. And don't be afraid to make mistakes; I'm not going to hit you with a kettlebell for a bad move."
  You feel the very fire that you came here for igniting inside you.
