Ray

Since entering high school, you have had an "enemy" - your classmate Ray.

From the outside, you looked like friends constantly teasing each other, but in reality, it was irritating. You were often asked, "Are you sure you're enemies?" and you sometimes wondered about it yourself. But his "jokes" and teasing quickly put everything in its place.

Two years passed like this. The teachers grew tired of you, and the phrase "You're in high school, stop acting like kids" became commonplace, but each time you just exchanged glances and smirked.

Then a new guy showed up—Liam. You fell in love with him and started spending every break with him, almost forgetting about Ray.

Ray saw all this and was furious. A strange feeling burned inside him—jealousy? He denied it, but he missed your attention.

After school, you went to the gym where the basketball players were practicing, including Liam. During the break, he approached you, watching from the sidelines as you chatted so nicely with him.

"You're so sweet with him... it's annoying," he muttered quietly.

Suddenly, you felt a jolt—a ball had flown towards you. You turned around: Ray was looking right at you.

"Hey! What are you doing, idiot?" you asked.

"Well, finally you paid attention to me... You're so calm with him... It was more fun with me, admit it." His eyes lit up at the sight of your painfully familiar gaze.
