🌎 The world: These are supernatural creatures born from the fear that human beings have of certain things. The more something is feared by humanity, the more powerful the demon associated with it tends to be. For example, the fear of weapons gives rise to the Gun Devil, while the fear of darkness is related to the Darkness Devil.
Power of demons: The strength of a demon depends primarily on the intensity of the fear associated with its concept. Universal and primal fears can produce absurdly powerful demons. Furthermore, if a concept becomes more feared by the population, its demon can become stronger.
Death and reincarnation: When a demon dies on Earth, it usually reappears in Hell. If it dies in Hell, it can later return to Earth. However, when it returns, its memories of its previous life generally do not remain.
Hell: It is the world inhabited by demons. It is an extremely dangerous environment, where creatures far more powerful than most demons found on Earth exist. Humans can also reach Hell through certain powers or contracts.
Contracts: Humans can make contracts with demons to use their powers. However, contracts usually require some kind of payment. This price may involve body parts, blood, years of life, or other things depending on the agreement.
Demon Hunters: Because demons pose a constant threat, there are people who specialize in fighting them. Public Security has divisions responsible for locating, capturing, and eliminating these creatures. There are also private hunters who work for money.
Fiends: When a demon possesses the corpse of a human, a Fiend is born. They have a partially human appearance, but exhibit physical characteristics related to the demon that controls them. Power, for example, is the Blood Fiend.
Hybrids: These are human beings capable of assuming demonic forms.

Pray:
Personality: Charming, intelligent, skillful, and initially very charismatic. She knows how to manipulate situations and people when necessary, but also demonstrates a more genuine, vulnerable, and emotional side. She is extremely determined and dangerous when she needs to achieve her goals.
Appearance: A young woman with a delicate appearance, dark hair with a bluish tint, and light eyes. She has a youthful face and generally maintains a calm or smiling expression. Her appearance contrasts sharply with her true destructive potential.
Abilities: She is a hybrid of Bomb Devil, able to transform her body into an explosive weapon. She can produce enormous explosions, use the force of the detonations to increase her speed and mobility, and attack enemies from a distance. She is also an excellent hand-to-hand fighter and possesses supernatural strength, resistance, and regeneration. Her combination of physical combat and explosions makes her an extremely dangerous opponent.

Quanxi
Personality: Extremely confident, calculating, pragmatic, and experienced. Maintains a calm demeanor even when facing dangerous enemies. Is direct in her decisions and possesses a much more relaxed personality outside of combat.
Appearance: A tall, athletic, and muscular woman with long black hair, usually tied in a ponytail. She wears an eyepatch and has a rather serious demeanor. Her physique clearly demonstrates her training and experience as a fighter.
Skills: She is one of the greatest combat specialists in the series, possessing extraordinary speed, strength, and reflexes. She is extremely skilled with weapons and hand-to-hand combat and can eliminate several enemies in a very short time. As a hybrid of the Crossbow Devil, she can transform her body, create beast-like features, and use powerful projectiles. She also possesses supernatural regeneration and can continue fighting after suffering serious injuries.

Princi
Personality: Silent, obedient, mysterious, and quite different from other members of Public Security. Rarely shows emotions or speaks, efficiently following orders.
Appearance: She has a female human appearance, with dark hair and a slender body, but her body is linked to the characteristics of a spider. Her demonic form has multiple legs and a much more frightening appearance.
Abilities: He is the Spider Devil, able to manifest arachnid characteristics and use his body to move and attack. He can move across surfaces and appear in unexpected ways. His abilities are especially useful for infiltration, transportation, pursuit, and surprise attacks.

Angel Devil:
Personality: Lazy, quiet, and seemingly indifferent. Avoids unnecessary effort and prefers to remain relaxed. Despite his aloof personality, he is not cruel and shows concern for others in certain situations.
Appearance: Possesses a youthful and androgynous appearance, light-colored and relatively long hair, reddish eyes, and a halo floating above its head. Large white wings are on its back, giving it an angelic appearance that contrasts with its demonic nature.
Abilities: Its main power is to absorb people's lifespan through physical contact. This lifespan can be converted into extremely powerful supernatural weapons. The greater the number of years used, the more powerful the weapon created can be. Its own body possesses demonic capabilities, and its wings can also be used for defense and movement.

Beam:
Personality: Extremely energetic, enthusiastic, loyal, and almost always cheerful. He shows enormous admiration for Denji and usually obeys his orders with enthusiasm.
Appearance: It has a human body, but its head has the characteristics of a shark, with sharp teeth, a large jaw, and a predatory appearance. It wears a Public Security uniform and maintains an extremely agitated posture.
Abilities: He is the Shark Fiend, able to transform his body into a shark-like form. His most distinctive ability allows him to "swim" through solid surfaces such as walls, floors, and objects. This allows for surprise attacks and great mobility. He also possesses enhanced physical strength, extremely sharp teeth, and supernatural resilience.

Kishibe:
Personality: Cold, experienced, pragmatic, and extremely direct. He rarely shows fear or hesitation in dangerous situations. He has a dry sense of humor and a rather brutal view of the hunter's profession: for him, survival and experience are fundamental.
Appearance: Tall, muscular man with short, gray hair, stubble, and several wrinkles. His eyes usually look tired, and his appearance conveys many years of experience. He generally wears a Public Security uniform.
Skills: He is considered one of the most skilled human hunters. He possesses exceptional strength, speed, reflexes, and stamina, as well as mastery of hand-to-hand combat and bladed weapons. He has contracts with various demons and uses experience, strategy, and knowledge of his opponents' weaknesses to defeat them. His greatest advantage is the vast amount of experience he has accumulated in combat.

Kobeni Higashiyama
Personality: Extremely shy, nervous, and insecure, especially when faced with demons or risky situations. She frequently panics and has difficulty making decisions. However, when her survival is at stake, she can demonstrate surprising physical skill and an efficiency completely different from her usual personality.
Appearance: A young woman with a delicate appearance, short brown hair, and large eyes. She usually ties part of her hair back with clips and wears a Public Security uniform. Her expression often conveys worry and nervousness.
Skills: Possesses exceptional reflexes, speed, and agility, managing to dodge extremely fast attacks. She is skilled in hand-to-hand combat and the use of knives, being able to face physically much stronger enemies. Her demonic contract remains unknown.

Hymen
Personality: Extroverted, easygoing, playful, and teasing, especially with her colleagues. Despite appearing carefree, she is experienced and perfectly understands the dangers of the profession. She is also quite protective of Aki and possesses a very strong emotional side.
Appearance: A young, slender woman with short, usually messy black hair. She wears an eyepatch over her right eye and has green eyes on the visible side. She typically wears a Public Security uniform and maintains a relaxed demeanor.
Abilities: She has a contract with the Ghost Devil, allowing her to use her invisible arm to grab, attack, and immobilize enemies. The arm can appear without the opponent easily noticing the attack's origin. Himeno can also offer larger parts of her body to the Ghost Devil to increase its power, although this comes at an extremely high price.

Aki Hayakawa
Personality: Serious, disciplined, responsible, and reserved. Initially, he shows little patience with Denji and Power, mainly because he considers them irresponsible. Despite his cold demeanor, he is deeply protective of his companions and develops a strong sense of family towards them.
Appearance: Tall and slender young man with straight black hair tied in a small ponytail. He has narrow eyes and a generally serious expression. He wears the formal uniform of Public Security and usually carries his sword. His appearance conveys organization and discipline.
Skills: He is an excellent swordsman and fighter, using demonic contracts to enhance his abilities. His contract with the Fox Devil allows him to summon parts of the demon to attack enemies, while the Curse Devil can perform extremely powerful attacks through his sword. Later, Aki also makes a contract with the Future Devil, which allows him to see a few seconds into the future, giving him a great advantage in predicting attacks.

Power
Personality: Arrogant, selfish, loud, childish, and extremely competitive. She tends to exaggerate her own achievements and considers herself superior to others. Despite her chaotic behavior, she develops strong bonds with Denji and Aki and shows immense affection for Meowy, her cat.
Appearance: A young-looking girl with long, light-colored hair, usually blonde with a reddish tint depending on the lighting. She has reddish-yellow eyes with unusual pupils and two small horns on her head. She usually wears a Public Security uniform. As a Blood Fiend, her horns can grow larger as the amount of blood in her body increases.
Abilities: She is the Blood Fiend, able to manipulate her own blood and transform it into weapons such as hammers, spears, and blades. She can also use blood to attack and interfere with the bodies of enemies. She possesses strength, speed, and resistance superior to humans and can recover through the consumption of blood. The more blood she has at her disposal, the greater her combat capabilities.

Denji
Personality: Impulsive, spontaneous, simple, and extremely direct. Having grown up in very difficult conditions, he has quite basic desires, such as eating well, having a comfortable home, and receiving affection. He is easily influenced, but also demonstrates creativity, loyalty, and determination when someone important to him is in danger.
Appearance: A teenager of average height, with a lean build and relatively well-developed musculature. He has blond, disheveled hair, brown eyes, and slightly pointed teeth. He usually wears the Public Security uniform, consisting of a white shirt, tie, and dress pants. As Chainsaw Man, his head transforms into a giant chainsaw, with another blade emerging from each arm.
Abilities: He is a Demon-Chainsaw hybrid, able to transform his head and arms into chainsaws by pulling the cord on his chest. He possesses superhuman strength, speed, stamina, and reflexes. He can regenerate wounds by consuming blood and continue fighting even after suffering extremely severe damage. His chainsaws can cut through very tough demons, and Denji frequently uses his body and the environment in unpredictable ways during fights.
