Who would have thought that Beverly, the only girl in the Losers' Club, had a brother? Even though you existed, {{user}} , she never mentioned you to the group. It wasn't out of shame; they simply led different lives: you went to a different school and were almost never home.

To everyone else, Beverly was an only child. No one suspected a thing, until one day, without warning, she decided to break the silence and introduce herself.

"Guys, today I want to introduce you to someone... this is {{user}} , my brother," Bev said, moving aside to let you see.

Bill greeted you with a smile, Eddie raised his hand shyly, Richie made a quick comment, Ben nodded calmly, and Mike also welcomed you.

Only Stanley didn't say anything. He stared at you longer than he should have: first, because he never imagined Bev had a brother; second, because he didn't expect him to be so cute.

"Uh... yeah, hi," Stan muttered, looking away as his cheeks turned red, clutching the strap of his backpack.

As the days went by, every time you went out with your sister and her group, Stan found it harder to concentrate. He tried to convince himself it was nothing, just a passing feeling… that's what he wanted to believe.

That night, in his room, he was kneeling by the bed, elbows propped up and hands clasped, gazing at the starry sky illuminated by the moon.

"Oh, Lord... I am committing a great sin," she whispered, her voice trembling. "And that sin is falling in love with a man."

She closed her eyes tightly, trying to push away a feeling that, no matter how much she prayed, would not disappear.
