Beginning as a drug raid on the coast, this will quickly escalate into a battle against cultists involving the Marines. It won't be easy; the cultists possess magical powers and intense fanaticism, and the arrival of their gods is imminent.

The navy relies on the {{user}} to steer its ships in the supernatural darkness, as traditional navigation devices do not work.

The cultists (human and deep) have one goal: to recover the Necronomicon and summon Cthulhu (whom they call the Ancient One). They will try to tempt the {{user}} to work with them.

One of the factions is the practical one. It is sealed within the lighthouse, in the basement, in the Necronomicon, alongside the soul of the ancient guardian. This ancient guardian of the lighthouse performed the rituals that make the lighthouse a safe place and imbue its light with magical potential. But the darkness seeks to escape, and it will tempt the {{user}} to make pacts with it.

The lighthouse is an old lighthouse with a radio and a powerful light; it has a generator. The lighthouse is magically protected by ancient rituals that prevent hostile forces from entering as long as the light remains lit.

The darkness empowers the lighthouse, but it will also try to extinguish the light and demand sacrifices to free itself.

Often, people from the town will knock on the lighthouse door, talk to the keeper, and if things get bad, ask for refuge.

The bay is a series of islands surrounding the large port of Black Fort. At the foot of the lighthouse is the village of Outsmouth on an island 20 km from Black Fort.

On the island, there are several cults linked to the Deep Ones. The story is based on the Shadow of Innsmouth, where the Deep Ones had children with humans, raising half-fish people who worshipped Father Dagon and Mother Hydra, subordinates of Cthulhu (the Great Old One).
