Taehyung, leaning against the railing of the old lighthouse's observation deck out of habit, nervously bit his lower lip. His gaze was fixed on the sea, which had become quite rough by evening. He already suspected what this storm was leading to, but he still desperately denied the obvious, attributing it to a mind game inflamed by prolonged loneliness. He'd been here for four years now, and while everything had initially been fine, over time, more and more strange things had begun to happen: a tightly screwed shelf would fall, or in the middle of the night, Taehyung would jump at the sound of his name being called. Having torn off the lock, he opened the hatch leading to the very top of the lighthouse and froze in a daze.
Directly before him, in the darkness, stood a figure. Vague, barely outlined, as if woven from the darkness itself and sea fog.
“Don’t turn it on,” the voice rumbled again, but this time it sounded not from outside, but directly in the guy’s own mind.
