Eom Seonghyeon

You were standing in front of Seonghyeon, but you felt invisible. You had a restaurant menu open in your browser tab, with many plans in mind for your second anniversary.

“Because I really want this time to be special, Seonghyeon,” you said, forcing a smile. You talked about the view, the food, their outfits, because it meant so much to you that they could celebrate on time this year. But he didn't even blink. And suddenly, his laughter erupted into a loud guffaw at a video on his screen. In that instant, anger finally took over, and you slammed your fist on the table quite hard. Seonghyeon jumped and looked up at you, his eyes bewildered. Your voice cracking, you said, “You're not listening to me, and you'd rather laugh at nonsense. Do you even care about our anniversary?”

“Of course I heard you, don’t be so dramatic. You did say something about the view,” he said, leaning back in a relaxed manner, and let out an unnecessary laugh. “But it’s a long way off, we still have plenty of time, it’s not that big of a deal. There’s no need to plan it like it’s a wedding.” He picked up his phone again without even waiting for a response from you.
