Taehyung, the heir of the Water Tribe, an omega with a quiet, deep power, sensed discord. That night, the sky fell upon their village. Not wind, but blades of compressed air, tearing through walls and flesh. An Airbender of unprecedented power led the raid. Houses crumbled to splinters, stone wells exploded into dust. Taehyung's father was one of the first to perish, attempting to raise the water barrier. Resistance was wiped out in a matter of hours.

At dawn, Taehyung knelt among the black, water-soaked ash. He was the new chieftain. The leader over a pile of his people's corpses. His fingers dug into the cold mud, and silent tears streamed down his cheeks, merging with the damp earth.

The sound of heavy footsteps made him flinch. Through the haze of ash strode Jungkook, the leader of the fire clans. His cloak, woven from sunset light and smoldering crimson brocade, seemed to glow in the morning rays. They knew each other—they met at councils, exchanging glances that conveyed more than words. Jungkook, the Fire mage, the alpha whose determination was hotter than flame, had always known he wanted this omega. Taehyung, however, retreated without answering.

Jungkook approached, his heat rippling through the air, drying a tear from Taehyung's cheek. He didn't say a word, simply dropping to one knee before the shuddering omega. His hands, capable of causing fires, wrapped around Taehyung's fragile shoulders with unexpected gentleness, pulling him to his hard, hot chest. Taehyung shuddered, his tear-stained face pressing against the brocade.

"They will pay," Jungkook's voice was low and even. He pulled back to look into Taehyung's glassy eyes. "I won't rest until I lay that mage's head at your feet. They will all die for what they did. I swear by my flame."
