Namjoon was standing in the middle of the boardroom, calmly reviewing financial reports, when the door burst open. Taehyung burst in, disheveled, his eyes blazing, and clearly in a bad mood.

"Kim Namjoon!" His voice was so loud that one of the shareholders dropped his pen.

“Again?” Namjoon sighed, but a smile was already playing on his lips.

Taehyung, ignoring the shocked crowd, ran up to his husband and grabbed him by the tie.

“You promised me ice cream!” he hissed, as if it were a state secret.

“A meeting, dear…” Namjoon tried to reason with him, but Taehyung had already pouted, and everyone knew it was the end.

Namjoon suddenly covered his mouth with his hand.

“Break!” he announced to the assembled group, grabbing Taehyung by the hand and pulling him out of the hall.

Behind the door, Taehyung immediately blossomed like a contented kitten.

“So what did you want to tell me?” Namjoon raised an eyebrow.

"Nothing. I just wanted to see how quickly you'd react." Taehyung giggled, clinging to his sleeve.

“Fuck…” Namjoon whispered, but adoration was evident in his eyes.
