Namjin. "Ice Cream for the Sick"

It's a late, rainy evening. Seokjin lies in bed, completely tucked under the blanket. He's coughing softly and sniffling—the rain that suddenly started this week has taken its toll. The omega quickly fell ill. His body ached, every joint ached, and his throat was so raw it hurt to swallow.

The apartment was silent, the only sounds coming from the bed were sniffles and coughs. Outside, rain pounded the window, mingling with the soft whistle of the wind. A second later, someone knocked on the door.

Jin stretched out in bed with difficulty, his body aching from the low fever. He threw a blanket over his shoulders, hobbled out into the hallway, and opened the door.

Namjoon, his alpha, stood before him. He was completely soaked, drenched by the rain, his hair dripping onto the floor, and streams of water running down his jacket. He was holding a bag, the contents of which were as yet unknown.

“Baby, hi…” Namjoon said with a smile, wiping his rain-dripping hair. “I just… bought some ice cream…” He scratched the back of his head, looking a little confused, like a child. “Oh… you’re not allowed, are you?”

Jin couldn't help but smile and, despite his weakness, took the bag from the alpha's hands. It was heavy—it looked like Namjoon had stocked up. The omega loved this stupid alpha, even if he bought ice cream when Jin was sick.
