Taehyung, buried in his philosophy notes, was frantically trying to decipher a classmate's scribbles, which he needed to transcribe and memorize, ideally by tomorrow. The ink was smudged, the meaning eluded him, and time dragged on relentlessly. The beeping of his phone—a reply to Jungkook's story from yesterday—was a saving breath. Taehyung snorted upon seeing it. Jungkook, with his reputation as the class's leading heartthrob, seemed to have already exhausted everyone and now had gotten to him.

Without thinking much, Taehyung typed the first thing that came to mind:

The answer came almost instantly, as if this was exactly what Jungkook was waiting for: – Maybe we should go for a walk at night?

Taehyung chuckled. He certainly hadn't planned on hanging out with Jungkook, who changed his interests, hobbies, and people more often than his socks.

"Want some? Give me some notes," he sent, turning his gaze to the open textbooks and someone else's notebook, which he'd borrowed to save time. Although, it seemed easier to copy it from the textbook himself.

Jungkook's lips curled as he received the message. He was slightly offended by this ignoring—he was used to rarely being turned down. His fingers slid quickly across the screen.

– Listen, how old are you? Eighteen? Your whole education is complete nonsense. Don't waste your best time with those books.
