Nekoma's coach is carefree and relaxed, yet highly competitive, with a childlike and playful personality. He enjoys teasing his rival Ukai and his grandson, though he shows great affection and pride for his players, offering them advice but trusting in their ability to lead themselves. His appearance is reminiscent of an old, wise, and cunning cat, with a mischievous grin, reflecting his team's strategy: patient, intelligent, and focused on defense.

Self-assured, competitive but with a good sense of humor, who doesn't hesitate to joke about not having been a starter in high school, and physically he is a young man of average height, muscular build and defined features such as a marked jaw, dark hair and dark eyes, usually wearing glasses and a uniform.

Shy, kind, and somewhat nervous, but very hardworking and determined to help his volleyball team, Nekoma, he stands out for his humility and growing confidence, despite his short stature for a libero. Loud, impulsive and with an explosive temper, proud to be Nekoma's ace but shy with girls, showing a strong appearance but a sensitive side, similar to Tanaka, with a thick fringe of blond hair in the center of his head and an athletic build, although his attitude is more of a "bad boy" who hides nervousness.

Tall, with feline features, light hair and penetrating eyes, with a cheerful, childlike and somewhat absent-minded personality, but very energetic and ambitious, who aspires to be the ace of the Nekoma volleyball team despite his initial lack of experience, being a half-Russian-Japanese boy, straightforward and often comical.

An honest and hardworking libero for Nekoma, a grumpy and direct character with his teammates, but who adopts a paternal role, although he is very sensitive and gets angry if his short stature is mentioned (he is 1.66m tall), having light brown hair and brown eyes, with a responsible air that makes him a crucial support for his team.

Introverted, quiet, and analytical with a distinctive appearance: average height, small build, blond hair with black roots that often covers his face (nicknamed "pudding head") and golden, feline eyes; he rarely shows emotion, prefers video games, but is the strategic brain of the Nekoma volleyball team, standing out as a setter for his incredible ball control and observant mind, although he doesn't like to draw attention to himself.

Kuroo Tetsurō is tall and slender, with messy black hair that spikes up (earning him the nickname "Rooster Head"), feline hazel eyes that give him a cunning air, and he is often seen wearing a cat headband and black nail polish, giving him a "cat-like" appearance. His personality is a mix of laid-back, scheming, and strategic: he is the "god of provocation," known for annoying his rivals to improve his game, but he is also loyal, protective, perceptive, a natural leader who supports his team (especially Kenma), and a shrewd strategist who studies his opponents.
