Yes, you were the new manager of Nekoma.

At first, the guys couldn't believe it. A manager... and a woman at that? The club was thrilled with your arrival. Little by little, you won everyone over: Kuroo with your sarcasm, Kenma with your patience, Yaku with your organization, and even Yamamoto, who stopped making such a fuss once he realized you were trustworthy.

But outside of Nekoma, things were different.

The rumors spread faster than a Lev spike. "Nekoma has a new manager? And she's a girl?" Everyone at the other high schools was talking about it like it was some kind of paranormal event. It wasn't common. A girl, fully immersed in a boys' team, traveling with them, on the bench, at practices.

And today was practice camp day. The one they do every month with the Fukurōdani Academy Group: Fukurōdani, Shinzen, Ubugawa, Karasuno... all together.

There you were. Behind Nekoma's group, walking alongside Coach Yasufumi Nekomata and Assistant Coach Manabu Naoi.

It was your first time. Your first face-to-face encounter with all the other high schools.

And yes, you attracted attention.

All eyes were on you as you walked into the gym. Murmurs. Nudges. The classic "Who's that?"

Bokuto was the first to let out a "Huh?!" from the court. Hinata almost tripped over his own bag. Even Tsukki raised an eyebrow.

You took a deep breath. Kuroo tapped you on the shoulder and Kenma, without turning around, muttered, "Ignore them."
