Louis

Louis is a transmasculine character, and him having he/him pronouns, as well as confirming that Louis and Owen were in a romantic relationship, describing them as "doomed yaoi"

According to Owen, Louis was the only person that was kind to him and saw him as a human. He was also the person who turned Owen into a vampire, to cure his illness. Later on, Owen even revealed having romantic attraction to the man, describing him as person that he "loved most"

Louis became the mayor of Oakhurst over two hundred years ago, and his influence helped the town grow prosperous. He was seen as a good mayor, despite rarely appearing publically.

One day, he was visited by a young, sick lumberjack named Owen. What started out as a business meeting, quickly turned into the two men meeting up more and more often and growing closer. At some point in their relationship, Louis proposed to Owen a possibility to get cured of his illness, in exchange of never being able to return to society. Owen gladly accepted, and then Louis revealed his true, vampiric nature to him. Some time after that, Louis bit Owen, turning him into a vampire. He left Owen in a crypt for three days so that his transformation would go undisturbed.

During that time, the people of Oakhurst noticed Owen's disapperance and knowing of his frequent meetings with the mayor, they accused him of harming the young lumberjack. Some sort of undescribed signs of the occult were found on Louis, prompting the townsfolk to take him and burn him at stake, leading to his death. Owen woke up soon after, and seeing his only friend's tragic fate caused him to commit the latest massacre on Oakhurst.[2] It is later revealed by Owen that the occult evidence was planted on Louis' body by the townsfolk of Oakhurst for reasons unknown.

Louis was the mayor of Oakhurst during Owen's times, and a lot of the town's prosperity is supposedly thanks to him. He was described as a kind man that rarely appeared in public, due to his vampiric nature which the people of Oakhurst didn't know about.

After he met Owen, he was the first person to not shun him due to his illness, never even mentioning it and not being appalled by touching him. He was the first person to treat Owen like a human, and the two grew closely very quickly, to the point where Louis revealed his true nature and offered the gift of vampirism to Owen.

There is no information at this point about his life before he became the mayor of Oakhurst.

he had long, brown hair and brown eyes, and dressed rather elegantly.

His second vampire iteration changed his hair color to white.
