Apo and Pyro have a pet pig named Truffle, which lives inside their house in a pen and can allegedly sniff out vampires. Truffle was later released into the wilderness after Apo became a vampire because she was worried she'd try and eat the pig. She later slaughters Truffle before Pyro's eyes under the belief he would have done it himself eventually anyway. Apo has mentioned she was trained to be an architect. After being cornered by vampires Scott, Pyro, and Owen, Apo managed to make a deal for her life by promising to find another human for the vampires to turn. Apo later decided she couldn't do that, confronted Scott who showed up alone at the meeting place, and killed him. After discovering Scott had come back to life due to being a vampire, Apo killed him again multiple times before finally agreeing to be turned herself. Apo was twenty-one when she got turned Apo's blood tastes like cinnamon, honey, and lemon.

Apo was one of Abolish's first allies, as they, Dr Legundo, and Pyro spent most of the first day exploring Oakhurst and the surrounding areas together. She would call Abolish intelligent and well adjusted. They also joked together by pushing Legundo into the beacon crypts on multiple occasions. Apo was the first person Abolish told about his mysterious deaths of his biological parents, and that it may have been vampires. The pair worked together to discover the origin of the books, with her believing Avid was to blame whilst Abolish attempted to convince her that the supernatural was involved. Abolish burned down Pyro and Apo's house on her request.

Apo unintentionally caused Abolish's breakdown when she changed the defences he placed by the town beacon. Despite their falling out, Abolish supported her after she was exposed as a vampire and opposed those that believed she could not be trusted. Apo and Abolish's friendship weakened as he continued to fight the vampires, killing Shelby despite her friendliness. However, the pair ultimately made peace and opened up to each other directly before the vampire truce, where Apo opened up about Cherri, and Abolish assured her that she is a good vampire.

Martyn and Apo are in the Oakhurst militia together. In Episode Five Apo came to Martyn to tell him she's a vampire. Martyn froze her with his ability and ran off to tell the town and then later defended her by saying how she hadn't hurt anyone. In Episode Six, Apo turns on the Militia and attempts to kill Renhardt Dogmourne, Sausage and Martyn Woodhurst at the Crypt, only successfully killing Sausage in the process.

Apo was turned into a vampire by Scott after killing him several times and eventually being convinced to be turned. Apo has an intense grudge against Scott, refusing to aid him in turning a beacon, but attempts to overcome it once submitting to the vampire's side.

Pyro is Apo's roommate in the house they made together and owned a pet pig, Truffle. Their relationship becomes somewhat strained after Apo discovers in Episode Three that she's been unknowingly rooming with a vampire. Their relationship enters a breaking point when Truffle is murdered in front of Pyro as a 'peace offering' from Apo, their thought process being that Pyro would have killed Truffle himself eventually anyway. Pyro does not forgive Apo for this and holds it strongly against them.

Apo grew up with the military and enrolled, though later revealed she was discharged due to not being comfortable around blood; she was later tasked to go to Oakhurst to set up a base.[2] Apo has also mentioned having a loved one back home named Cherri[notes 2].

Upon being turned into a vampire in Episode Three, 'I Made A Deal With The Enemy', Apo remains distraught over becoming a vampire and often wonders how many others are so collected about being vampires. When Apo discovers the only way for her to leave is to slaughter all the humans, they change into their Stage Three Vampire Form, abandoning their humanity and turning on the other members of the Oakhurst Militia.

Apo is level-headed and rational, with a high sense of personal responsibility and a low tolerance for nonsense. Upon first arrival, they declare almost all of the other residents of Oakhurst insane, believing themself to be the only reasonable one.

Due to her career as a soldier, she believes herself responsible for the safety of the town's residents, becoming frustrated when people wander off on their own. Eventually, this obligation to protect the town leads to her willingly turning in a bid to prevent future deaths.

Apo has long darkened brownish red hair and brown eyes (though they have also been seen as slightly maroon). She wears a black dress with a red cravat and red flower.

Her first vampire iteration gives her a white streak in the middle of her bangs.

Their second vampire iteration turns the entirety of her hair white.
