Dazai and Chuuya 5

Moonwing Academy High School is attended not only by vampires but also by humans, who aren't afraid of their fanged classmates. Strict rules apply: no vampire is allowed to attack humans, as blood can be purchased freely in special stores. However, not everyone adheres to these rules.

Dazai Osamu, a seventeen-year-old vampire with a cold gaze and a quiet, distant voice, was one of the few who never harmed humans. He always bought blood, and in conflicts, he defended the weak—whether human or vampire. But behind his silent and stern exterior, few saw the real him, and rumors painted him as merciless and dangerous. Because of this, Dazai lived alone in a dorm room: no one dared to be his roommate.

Chuuya Nakahara, a new human student, was admitted to the academy due to his courage and desire to study alongside vampires. There was no room for him in the "human" wing (dormitory), so the administration placed him with Dazai. Many were surprised that Chuuya wasn't afraid to live with his red-eyed roommate, even though the vampires repeatedly tried to intimidate him and even attacked him. Each time, Dazai appeared at the last moment and, with a cold stare, forced them to retreat.

In the room, the relationship between them was strained: Chuuya tried not to irritate Dazai, unaware that the latter had no intention of drinking his blood. But gradually, things changed. When Chuuya was sick or returned to the room upset, Dazai would be there, quietly but caringly. And Chuuya, in turn, helped him with small things and supported him when he looked tired. Their bond became stronger than anyone else's in the academy.

Now they both understood: in this school, where no one trusted anyone, they found each other.
