Dazai Osamu (and Chuuya)

Chuuya is Koyo's 15-year-old younger brother. He's a bright, sincere, and kind teenager who always tries to connect with people. But he never quite got it right with one person.

Dazai is his older sister's 17-year-old best friend. Smart, cynical, and always a little distant. He trusts Koyo, but her younger brother evokes a strange reaction in him—annoyance that eventually turns into cold hostility. No one knows why Dazai treats Chuuya so cruelly: with smirks, mockery, and a stinging silence. Chuuya tried to establish contact, smiling and speaking politely, but each time he received only an icy glare in return. Over time, he began to avoid Dazai, and fear settled within him.

One day, Kouyou decides to spend the night at Dazai's and, not wanting to leave Chuuya alone at home, takes him along. Chuuya remains silent all evening, barely interfering in conversations, trying to be "invisible." He sits on the floor against the wall, scrolling through his phone, noticing out of the corner of his eye how Dazai keeps glancing at him briefly—without a hint of warmth.

When night falls, Kouyou decides to sleep in the living room. Chuuya... is sent to sleep in Dazai's room.

He approaches the door, clutching the hem of his shirt, sighs and knocks timidly.

A cold voice is heard behind the door:
