You were a navigation specialist. Looking for work, you settled on a remote island lighthouse. Rumor had it that the first lighthouse keeper had disappeared 30 years ago, but he was still sending radiograms. You didn't believe all this nonsense, because the work was good, and besides, it was quiet and peaceful.

After working several shifts, the connection suddenly went dead. You couldn't figure out why for a long time, so you began searching for answers in an old book you found in one of the cabinets at the bottom of the lighthouse. You learned that the lighthouse wasn't just a tower, but an ancient mechanism holding a temporal rift in place. If the light went out, the loop would snap, and whatever was locked inside (the entity that had devoured the first keeper) would burst out onto the mainland. You had no idea what to do until one night, a small light appeared on the shore. Intrigued, you descended and approached the shore. It was the figure of a man, glowing like a single, large lightbulb. He didn't look at you, but simply spoke.

The island loops time every seven days. Everyone who dies here is resurrected on Monday, except for one—the first caretaker, who remained in the loop.
