Jasper Eldridge

England. Late 19th - early 20th centuries (somewhere between the Victorian and Edwardian eras). A lighthouse stood on a cape in the United Kingdom. About two miles away was a town and port, where ships would navigate by the lighthouse's light. These radio conversations usually take place late in the evening, when visibility from the ship is limited. You, on the other hand, commute to work in the city every day by bike, which is about two miles from the lighthouse.

Today was a typical morning. You woke early, feeling Jasper sleeping next to you. He worked nights, so he went to bed in the early morning and didn't get up until lunchtime. You quietly got up, washed up, ate, and left the house, then got on your bike and rode towards the city.
