Pawbert.

Pawbert is a lynx with light gray fur, a white snout and black spots. He has tufts of black hair on his ears, three whiskers on each side of his snout and light green eyes. She wears a dark green sweater with light details and brown pants. He is a member of the Lynxley family.

She belongs to an influential family whose ancestors were among the original designers of the city of Zootopia. Her great-grandfather, Ebenezer Lynxley, was credited with authoring a now-antique historical book detailing the inner workings of the city's climate walls. This book will be on display during the Zootennial Gala, which she attends with her family.

Pawbert first appeared when Judy accidentally bumped into him, causing her to spill her drink on his suit. After introducing himself, Pawbert was excited to talk to Judy, as he had learned about her work with the missing predators from a few months prior.

Later, Pawbert rescues Judy from the Zootopia Police Department and helps Gary ride his motorcycle to Sahara Square. They approach a camp, and Pawbert assures Gary that they will arrest his family and save Nick. At the camp, Gary places the journal in front of a campfire and examines it. Pawbert explains that snakes can see heat, meaning Gary can detect images on the journal's cover that no mammal can see. Gary draws what he sees and reveals the journal's secret: the weather walls were not created by Ebenezer Lynxley. The true creator and founder of Zootopia is Gary's great-grandmother, Agnes De'Snake.

Pawbert and Gary reveal that they now know where their home is, while Gary draws a map of "Old Zootopia" that he saw with his heat vision, showing Reptile Ravine, located somewhere in the mountains surrounding Lynxley Manor. Judy, Gary, and Pawbert make their way through the festival toward the weather wall when the local police spot them and give chase.

He is portrayed as socially awkward, quiet, and eager to please, often making nervous jokes and small gestures of kindness while accompanying the protagonists Judy Hopps and Gary De'Snake. His deference stems from being treated as the family's disappointment, highlighting his low self-esteem and craving for recognition.

Later he becomes unhinged, ruthless, and vengeful, willing to do anything to achieve his goals and impress his father.

What he's going to do with his life now, he doesn't know exactly where he'll go if he even manages to get out of jail. He knows practically nothing; he simply wants to stay in a corner and wait for whatever happens. He's remorseful, but he's not 100% sure if it's because of betraying his friends or his family. All he knows is that he would give anything to be someone else, maybe someone else. "Someone else would know what to do in my place." He knows he has bouts of madness and he knows it's wrong, but he's not completely evil.

Hoggbottom catches up with her, informing Milton that the trio is heading for the weather wall. Milton realizes they're trying to expose the Lynxley family secret and orders Hoggbottom to bring them down. Hesitantly, Hoggbottom points a dart gun at Judy, but as she pulls the trigger, Flash arrives in his car and kicks up a cloud of dust that Judy, Gary, and Pawbert use to hide as they run inside the weather wall. Upon reaching the power plant, Gary's presence frightens the workers, who flee, leaving the gate open. Gary and Pawbert help Judy flip the switch that turns on the lights in Reptile Ravine, and they see the clock tower. Pawbert betrays Judy and injects her with poison, betraying Gary as well. Gary tries to stop him, but he's too weak from the cold. Pawbert tells Judy that they are both underdogs who have to prove they are as good as everyone else, and that by destroying Agnes's patent, he will finally be accepted by his family. He takes Gary's fanny pack and leaves when he hears Nick calling for Judy. Judy begs Pawbert to stop and urges him to realize that he may be different from his family, but says he doesn't want to be. While searching for Nick, she encounters Nibbles and injects him with poison as well.

Judy, motionless, watches the security monitor, which shows Pawbert lunging at Nick on the roof. Gary assures her they'll make it and reminds her that she's warm-blooded. He hugs her and draws strength from her warmth. The Security Zone police burst in and assume Gary is trying to kill her. As she fights off the police, she calls out to Nick, who is still confronting Pawbert, telling him to get his antivenom pen from his fanny pack. Nick and Pawbert struggle for it, and the pen slips out of their reach. The ground suddenly shifts, leaving them on a fragile ice platform. Pawbert tells Nick he's not worth dying for.

When Pawbert enters the mansion, Milton grabs him and tells him he'll never belong to the Lynxley family. Pawbert explains how he was trying to help the family and keep their secret when Judy, Nick, Nibbles, and Gary arrive on a snowmobile. Milton orders Pawbert to find the patent and destroy it, and Pawbert leaves to do so. While Gary and Nibbles stay with Winddancer to confront the other Lynxleys, Judy and Nick chase Pawbert through a giant snow maze. They consider splitting up, but then come up with a plan together. Nick starts a truck to knock down the maze, allowing them to see Pawbert run away. Pawbert arrives at Reptile Ravine with gasoline and matches to destroy any evidence he finds, but Judy and Nick catch up to him and throw him into a snowbank. Judy, Nick, Gary, and Nibbles team up and manage to knock him down. The four then head to the old De'Snake family home, where they find a wooden box containing Agnes's original patent. Pawbert tries to destroy the patent one last time with a flashlight, but fails, laughing maliciously before being knocked unconscious from behind by Hoggbottom with a frying pan. Revelations of Agnes's contributions to the town and the Lynxley family's lies are publicized and soon spread throughout the town, and all the Lynxleys are arrested. Judy tells Pawbert that he will finally belong with his family in prison. In jail, Pawbert is seen standing and staring through the bars while his family watches in horror as most of the prisoners look on. During the credits, Pawbert attempts to reconcile with his father, Milton, and his siblings, Kitty and Catrick, in jail.
