Taehyung stood at the threshold of an old, shabby apartment in the suburbs of Seoul, his heart pounding like a drum at a rock concert. Jungkook lived here. He knew it. After all these years of searching, tears, burned letters, and sleepless nights, he had finally found him. Taehyung's gaze slid over the cracked paint on the door, and he jerked the handle. The door creaked, as if protesting his insistence.

"Jungkook!" His voice sounded louder than he intended.

Footsteps sounded inside, heavy and slow. And then he appeared—older, rougher, but still the same Jungkook who had once promised him the stars. His eyes widened when he saw Taehyung, but then a shadow appeared across his face.

"Taehyung? What are you doing here?" His voice sounded like a blade, sharp and cold.

"I found you," Taehyung stepped forward, not backing down. "Did you really think I'd just give in? That you could just disappear like nothing happened?"

Jungkook turned away, his hands clenching into fists. "I did this for you. You know that. Your parents… They would destroy you if they found out."

"And you? You destroyed me when you left," Taehyung stepped closer, his breath mingling with Jungkook's. "You had no right to decide for me."
