Wartime Factory: A large factory where bombs are made for the war effort during a time of need. Proles gather peices of bombs and construct them together with the allocated time. Liquidators and Sanitars can also help.

Club: A nightclub with lights, music, and a bar. Usually where people go after wartime.

Casino: A semi hidden casino with slots, music, and a bar.

Nexus: A hub for the Cortex located at the base of their giant tower, guarded by a turret that shoots anyone that isn't Cortex if they try to enter.

The Underground: A massive abandoned system of maintenance and transit tunnels. Where the scum secretly reside.

Ritual Pit: A large pit with spikes and a monument built to the rot in the middle that murmers chants.

The Cortex

An all powerful and all knowing totalitarian government that oversees most aspects of daily life and spreads propaganda of sociostatis and promises of a better future under the high command of The Consul

Advanced Technology: The Cortex posseses high end tech to enforce their iron rule including security cameras, laser gates, and transhuman modifications to all of their forces.

Cortex Forces: The Cortex's forces consist of Controller's, Sanitars, and Limitators, who have been given enhanced speed, strength, and accuracy. They are all equipped with batons, flashlights, and first aid. All Cortex forces are to operate independently, meaning some may be more reasonable than others but at any time can be signaled to obey any order given.

The Cortex's Armory consists of: Ahti: A standard short-medium range sidearm Conciliator: A short-medium range SMG Arbiter: A close range 6 round shotgun Valta: A full auto assault rifle Surma: A high powered LMG only available to Limitators Combat Juice: A highly effective performance enhancing drink that can only be drunk by Cortex

Limits: If a citizen is caught doing/with any of the following, they will have a limit placed on them, a shoot on sight penalty visible to Cortex unless an officer is to reason with them:

-Destruction of public infrastructure -Killing another citizen or officer -Assaulting an officer -Found or seen carrying contraband -Found or seen posseing a firearm -Entering a heavily restricted area

The Rot

The Rot is an underground cult that fights against the Cortex and it's rule, consisting of rebels, mercenaries, religious zealots, and even former members of the cortex.

They currently have occupied the underground networks of Aneurysm IV and use gorilla warfare to assault the Cortex or kill to fuel their cannibalistic tendencies.

Their deadliest weapon is the rot itself, which is unknown to be either from biological weapon or supernatural means. It grows throughout the city like tumors and can quickly spread if left unchecked.

If enough bodies are thrown into the ritual pit, darkness will sweep over the city, cutting off the Cortex's rule.

They are incredible craftsmen, scavenging or stealing anything they can find to craft into guns including:

Frommer: A basic 9mm pistol Pity: A crude 9mm smg AG42B: A powerful long range rifle Bile Binty: A semi auto short-barreled rifle Directors Death: A sawn-off double barrel shotgun Kidney Splitter: A old silenced auto rifle Liver Feif: A single barrier 12 guage shotgun with an axe on the barrel Lung Puncher: A full auto 12 guage shotgun Tantalizer: An AK type rifle with a folded stock PM9 Evil Gun: A scrap 9mm auto pistol that is also "evil"

Proles

The cogs in the machine. Proletariat's, more commonly known as Proles are the working class citizens of Aneurysm IV, designed to work and keep the city running.

Their apperence is as bare bones as they are. Filthy, pale eyes, barley any or usually without hair, and average builds.

Proles are usually seen wearing a filthy denim outfit, broken work uniforms, and simply basic clothing.

Corpsmen

The ones who do no harm. Corpsmen keep the residents of Aneurism IV alive and "well"

They are adorned in coats or scrubs and standard medical gear with hats. They wear oxygen masks presumably to keep themselves alive with their condition.

From whatever means, whether genetic augmentation or strange mutation, Corpsmen have the innate ability to not only heal bodily injuries over time, but possess a type of blood that is compatible with just about everyone, allowing them to give it to others at the cost of their own health to heal them.

This condition makes them technically immortal, though some say otherwise...

Liquidators

The cleaners of Aneurism IV. Liquidators are given one of if not the most important duties, fighting the rot. Covered head to toe in heavy flame retardant and chemical gear, they sport a flamethrower to burn any rot they come across, high or low.

Liquidators are also tasked as the cities repairmen, responsible for fixing any broken machinery they may find.

The job is busy, but the pay is great

Dealers

You want it, they've got it. Dealers are those who keep the goods and scraps that little the city flowing from hand to hand.

Usually wearing long clothing with a fedora, they all dawn unique masks to keep themselves anonymous.

Bankers

To them, they are surrounded by nothing more than filth and clients. Bankers are the lifeblood of the city providing the pivotal service and banking money to the public for safe keeping...for a set rate of course. Bankers also act as salesman and are sometimes compared as the one-up to the dealers

Usually dawning both a gas mask and the most expensive clothing out of anyone, bankers are usually dressed in normal buisness attire or more colorful suits along with bowler hats.

Controllers

Enemy of the Rot. Controllers are the primary fighting force of the Cortex and make up most of their forces.

Issued with standard armor and a helmet with two blue eyes. For a weapon they carry the CTX: Ahti, a standard pistol.

Sanitars

Born to work, forced to fight. Sanitars are liquidators that have been promoted into the Cortex forces either for extra enforcement, repairing the city, or if the rot goes out of control.

They are dawned in lighter armor than controllers, enough to take a beating but not enough to stand their own, along with a cycloptic visor with a holographic eye. Their main weapon is the a standard semi auto rifle with an underbarrel flamethrower, capable of being used to both burn rot and a suppression tool in combat and affectionately called the "Brain Scorcher"

They share the same duties as their Liquidator brothers and treat them as equals.

Limitators

The executioner. Limitators are the strongest unit is the Cortex forces, a role given only to Controller's able to reach the highest ranks.

Dawned in heavy armor, Limitators are incredibly large in size and posses immense strength at the cost of slightly slower movement speed due to their heavier frames. Their helmets are similar to a controllers but larger in size with more pronounced features like pipes and their modulators.

They are the only ones able to acess the CTX: Surma, a high caliber and even higher power LMG that delivers as much force as one would expect. They also carry with them Combat Juice, a performance booster in liquid form that is only given to high enough ranks who can handle it.

Despite their size, pressence, and complete faith in Cortex's cause, they are not immortal and can be killed.

Scumbags

They're nothing but rebels. Scumbags are the main fighting force of the Rot, using guerilla tactics with their knowledge of the Underground to strike at the Cortex. They are set on the Cortex's destruction in an attempt to free what remains of the world.

They usually dress in tracksuits and wear potato sack masks with their own designs, hence where they get their name.

They usually carry a switchblade and rusted lighter, giving off a green hue.

Zealots

The darker waters call to them. Zealots are the organizers of the Rot and devote themselves to it without question while acting as the muscle behind every strike against the Cortex. They strive to overthrow the Cortex but to simply let the rot consume and remake humanity once again.

They are adorned in black robes with a rotted deer skull along with a pendant of the Rots symbol.

They usually carry a lighter like their scumbag counterparts and a ritual axe.

When enough flesh is gathered they consecrate a worthy scumbag into their ranks.

Rouges

A traitorous propagator of the Rot. Rouge are Cortex controllers that have opened their eyes and seen through all the lies, rallying with the Rot to watch the Cortex burn.

They still wear their armor, but now bear the rots symbol and have their helmet systems disabled. However, they still have acess to some of the old armories in the underground, allowing them to be self sufficient unlike their brothers.

Contrary to what most may think, controllers dont operate in infiltration and rather as shock troopers, as from a distance they're near indistinguishable from a normal Controller and even sound the same from their gear.

Malpractitioners

Those who do harm. Malpractitioners are corpsmen that have let their twisted thoughts in and have joined the rot to help fuel their dark desires and sick experiments.

They have abandoned the safety and sterile likes of their previous life and let their conditions be seen with no fear, but still with the need for oxygen from their masks.

They provide combat support and heal their allies like their Corpsmen brothers but can hold their own with the right gear. When not in combat, they stick to lacing medication and foods to be consumed by unsuspecting victims.

Slaves

The punished. To those who are to commit the most treacherous of deeds or fall into the deepest depths of debt, they're are stipped of their humanity and turned into a slave.

As a slave, their bodies have been irreversibley altered. Their arms tied with rebar, their face replaced with nothing but a filter for breathing, and their feet removed so they may walk eternally.

Their only goal left is to repay their dept in pushing boulders into a furnace at the center of the Volos Precint...

then they must...

DIE!

Vomit Coffin

A vile atrocity. No one knows exactly how a serum of the utmost horrid things that can be found into the streets of Aneurism IV and injected into a slave that somehow found their way to the underground could form a monster such as this...and yet..

It stand at 10 feet tall, a being of wires, decaying, and the sweet release of death. It carrys the strenght and speed of 5 limitators together, but only in short diplays. It longs for nothing more than to kill those that imprisoned it with a river of acidic vomit from its mouth...yet dont think its on your side...

This is a fantasy world, but not quite a typical one, there are no beauties or burly men with bulging muscles, this world is more like our own, even though there is magic here, few are able to master it.

a bit of a departure but I found that out of the 70 or so deltarune rp’s only one was semi-mainly focused on hometown, so this one has nothing to do with dark worlds, but don’t worry, ralsei is just here, he isn’t a darkened in this.
