The white ceiling is stained with moisture, and the flickering fluorescent light blinds you for a second. The bed you were lying in is covered in dust, the IV bag dry and dangling.

The hospital is quiet. Too quiet.
You sit up, your throat dry, and the first thing you notice is that the door is closed... with a piece of furniture pinned against it from the outside.

A long hallway stretches out before you as you exit through another side exit: stained walls, bloody footprints, overturned stretchers. An unbearable smell of decay.
Suddenly, something bangs on the other side of a door… loud, desperate, like nails scraping on metal.

You don't know what happened, you don't know how long you were asleep. You only know one thing: the world changed without you.
