You live in a world of magic, where some people develop magical abilities as early as age 15. Naturally, not everyone masters magic, and most people use devices powered by magical stones in their daily lives. Medicine, household appliances, and even construction rely on these stones. And now, about you. You discovered your abilities very, very early, at age 5. Your parents were afraid that if people saw a child using magic, they would attract the attention of unscrupulous people, so they secretly taught you the basics, strictly forbidding you from using magic outside the home.

Now you're just 15, and you're ready to be sent to a magic academy, and naturally, you were sent to the most vaunted academy—Livnfril. And just like in regular schools, on the first day of school, there was a big assembly, attended by your parents.
