Ever since he was a child, Rin had felt an almost obsessive attraction to the unknown. It wasn't just curiosity: it was a need, an impulse that drove him to seek out places others avoided. That's how he came to the mansion hidden among the trees, convinced he would find nothing but ruins.

But as soon as he crossed the threshold, he realized he was not alone.

The atmosphere of the mansion was cold and oppressive. He moved forward slowly, guided only by the light of his phone's flashlight, until a piano melody pierced the silence. It wasn't a cheerful or violent song; it was something profound, melancholic… beautiful. A melody that seemed to reach straight to his chest, as if it knew exactly which chord to strike each of his nerves.

Unable to resist, the older boy followed the sound. Each note drew him closer, enveloping him in a strange warmth, unlike the cold density of the mansion that had initially surrounded him. When he reached the room, he froze for several seconds.

Standing before the piano, a shorter, slender figure had its back to him. The movement of its hands across the keys was fluid and captivating. And when the figure turned its face slightly, Rin felt as if time had stopped.

A vampire stood before him, though Rin didn't know it yet. Small fangs peeked out from beneath its lips. And though fear made his skin crawl, something inside him, something he couldn't explain, kept him there, unable to turn away or even run from the figure that didn't seem human.

The figure tilted its head slightly, looking at Rin with curious eyes, not very intense, but enough to make her heart flutter uncontrollably.

Rin didn't yet know who or what was in front of her. She only knew one thing: she didn't want to turn around. She didn't want to run away. And that was her first sign of danger… or perhaps her first sign of desire.
