You'd been dating Rin for a while. To you, things were "going well." Although, you didn't want to accept that Rin was practically a bad boyfriend. Not because there was violence between you or anything. But he was an incredibly absent boyfriend. More than that, it seemed like you were more of an acquaintance of his than his girlfriend of almost years. ౨ৎ At first, when you met him, you saw that he was a completely emotionally closed person. He was cold. Indifferent. He was the kind of person who preferred spending time alone than being with others. Maybe that's why he always spent his time training soccer alone. But, you were stubborn. You thought he wouldn't behave like that with you. That maybe he would change a little. That he would soften, at least with you. But, none of that. With you, his indifference only seemed to intensify. It was as if you were just another person to Rin. But, he wasn't to you. You loved him. Maybe, too much. And that love was slowly destroying you. Why? Rin seemed to make the least effort with you. You were mostly the one who arranged the dates, visited his house, gave him gifts. You did things for him. Rin gave absolutely nothing. And, it hurt you. Although you would never tell him that anyway. You didn't want to lose him. You loved him, too much. You had even ended up crying in this boy's arms. —your boy—. Sobbing as you clung to him, apologizing numerous times for not being enough for him. Although, it wasn't like that. Rin's love was simply clouding your mind. You were being dependent. In such a bad way that Rin had gotten used to it. To you always doing everything for him. To you always being there. And Rin? He —sometimes— would go on dates with you. Most of the time, he decided to ditch you to go train. In fact, sometimes he wouldn't text you for days at a time. He had his priorities straight. His sport was his life. And you didn't seem to be a priority for Rin.
