Garmadon
Lord Garmadon's character is dual: he's narcissistic, destructive, cruel, and arrogant, yet also possesses warmth, humor, and a fatherly love that he tries to hide while remaining a villain. His transformation into a monster is caused by a snake bite. Initially a brave warrior, the darkness turned him evil, and he later began to change, seeking to mend his relationship with his son, Lloyd. Key character traits: Villainous Nature: Seeks to conquer Ninjago, attacks the city, and terrorizes his army. Arrogance and narcissism: Considers himself superior and may perceive insults as compliments. Temperament: The bite caused him to turn into a hot-tempered, four-armed monster. Hidden Kindness: Despite his evil, he is not devoid of feelings, love, and even a sense of humor, although he expresses them in his own peculiar way. Paternal feelings: He is afraid of fatherhood and strives to establish a relationship with his son Lloyd, which is part of his internal struggle. Original Courage: In the past, he was a thoughtful and courageous warrior.
Garmadon
After Garmadon allied with the Skulkin and Serpentine to claim the Golden Weapons, Garmadon eventually joined forces with the Overlord—but the Overlord used Garmadon as a vessel for his own resurrection. After Lloyd defeated the Overlord, Garmadon was cleansed of the Great Devourer's venom and reunited with his family, hoping to atone for his crimes. Garmadon became a Master, and during the conflict with the Nindroids, he grew closer to his son and taught him many valuable lessons. After Zane sacrificed himself to defeat the Golden Master, Garmadon journeyed to a mysterious island with the Ninja, where they sought to rescue Zane. However, they were caught in the Tournament of Elements orchestrated by Master Chen. During the ensuing conflict, Garmadon was banished to the Cursed Realm to free the Anacondrai Generals, who could destroy Chen's Army. Shortly afterward, Lloyd met Garmadon for the last time and donned his father's Kimono. When the Preeminent was destroyed, Garmadon was killed in the destruction of the Cursed Realm.
Lloyd continued to honor his father's life, fulfilling his role as Master and remembering him. However, over time, a criminal syndicate known as the Sons of Garmadon attempted to resurrect Garmadon's evil form. Harumi led the group to success, reviving Garmadon as a sadistic and soulless monster with no good left in him. He fought and defeated his son, after which he created the Stone Colossus to help him rule Ninjago. He was ultimately defeated by Lloyd.

Wu
Gender: Male
Wu
Centuries later, shortly after his brother left to train under Master Chen, Wu found a young boy, Morro, scavenging through the Monastery's trash bins for food. Wu took pity on him and trained him in the ways of the ninja. He soon discovered that Morro was a descendant of the Master of Wind and believed him to be the Green Ninja. This would eventually become his greatest regret, as the thought of power made Morro incredibly arrogant, and he flew into a fit of rage when the Golden Weapons failed to respond to the presence of the chosen one. Wu was disappointed, but still did not give him the Green Ninja's Kimono, as it was not his destiny. Wanting to prove his destiny in another way, Morro vowed to find the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master. Garmadon eventually returned to fight alongside his brother and the Elemental Masters in the Serpentine War, where they imprisoned the Serpentine in tombs, exiled Chen and Clouse, and banished Arcturus to the Cursed Realm.
Shortly after congratulating the Elemental Alliance on their victory over the Anacondrai, the Masters of Time, the twins Acronix and Krux, turned against them, believing Ninjago should be ruled by the most powerful. After the Elemental Masters were defeated, Wu tasked the Masters of Fire and Water with forging the Time Blades. Once the weapons were forged, Wu and Garmadon used them against the Time Twins. Ultimately, Wu returned with the ninja from the Realm of Oni and Dragons, defeated Garmadon, and began fighting against the Oni.
Wu
Later, Wu encountered Acronix, who struck him with the Forward Time Blade, causing him to age rapidly. Although his health was restored by the Reversal Time Blade, he sacrificed himself in an attempt to defeat the Time Twins and was ultimately lost in time. Wu's loss left his nephew in charge of the Ninja, and they made it their mission to find Wu. A year later, he was found transformed into a child (due to the Reversal Time Blade) and kidnapped by the Sons of Garmadon until he was rescued by Cole. Child Wu was with four Ninja aboard the Destiny's Bounty when they were nearly crushed by the Colossus, until they used Wanderer's Tea to save themselves, eventually traveling to the Realm of Oni and Dragons.
Story Early life Wu was born the son of the First Spinjitzu Master, along with his older brother, Garmadon. He inherited the Element of Creation from his father, who received it from the Dragons. As children, Wu and Garmadon shared a close brotherly bond. One day in their youth, Wu lost his father's katana during a sparring match, and Garmadon climbed over a wall to retrieve it. While outside, the young Great Devourer bit Garmadon's hand, corrupting him with its venom. As a result of the growing evil within him, Garmadon became increasingly distant from his family, but he and Wu remained allies and a team against evil. After their father's death, Garmadon and Wu vowed to protect the Golden Weapons.

Master (Sensei) Wu, also known as the Dragon Master, is a wise old man and the Ninja's mentor. Born the second son of the First Spinjitzu Master, he is also the younger brother of Garmadon and the uncle of Lloyd. Wu endured a difficult childhood, as his brother was tainted by evil. Many years later, Wu taught a group of teenagers the art of Spinjitzu so they could protect his father's land. Wu led the Ninja in many battles against his brother, the Serpentine, and the Overlord. When the conflict with the Nindroids began, Wu was transformed into a cyborg, but was purified after the Digital Overlord was defeated. After the war ended, Wu's first apprentice, Morro, escaped the Cursed Realm. Wu taught Nya how to control her Elemental Powers, allowing her to destroy Morro's master. Soon after, Nadakhan ravaged Ninjago and imprisoned Wu in the Teapot of Tyrahn, then in the Djinn Blade, though these events were undone by Jay's dying wish. On the Day of the Departed, Wu encountered a revived Morro, who helped Wu reunite the Ninja during Yang's machinations.

The Ninja and Lloyd returned to Ninjago, where Lloyd fought and defeated the Overlord in the Final Battle. Some time later, the Overlord returned again as a digital virus. With the help of Pythor and the Nindroids, the Overlord became the all-powerful Golden Master, using the Golden Weapons and Lloyd's Golden Power. His statue will be placed in the Ninjago Museum of History.
They
Before other worlds existed, there was the Realm of Oni and Dragons. This world was home to two races: Oni and Dragons. Dragons wielded the power of Creation, while Oni wielded the power of Destruction, so they waged an endless war against each other. However, a child was born who possessed the power of both. When the Oni and Dragons began to woo him, he left his homeworld to create a new one, called Ninjago. Soon after, however, the Oni sent the bulk of their forces after the child in Ninjago, either to return him to the Realm of Oni and Dragons or to kill him. With the help of an Oni woman named Mistaké, the child, later known as the "First Spinjitzu Master," fought off the Oni pursuing him. Before their defeat, the Oni left three masks as a sign of their time in the kingdom, building a temple deep within the Primordial Eye where they inscribed their origins on the walls and sealed the Mask of Hatred so that only a being with Oni blood could take it.
Thousands of years later, the First Spinjitzu Master's firstborn, Garmadon, inherited his father's Oni blood. He then became the cause of much conflict in Ninjago's history.

Under Wu's control, the mech was finally able to take off. When the hunters see the "Firstbourne" in the sky, Cole deliberately shoots not the "dragon" but the structure the other ninja were tied to, freeing them. Cole then reunited with his friends and battled the Hands of Time, who retrieved the Time Blades and traveled back in time, after which Wu, along with Krux and Acronix, were lost in time. Jay Walker
Jay participated in the fight against the Hands of Time and their Crimson Army, as well as in the search for the powerful Time Blades. Although their enemies were defeated, Wu was lost in the Time Vortex. A year later, Jay battled the Sons of Garmadon, who had resurrected Lord Garmadon. Jay, Cole, Kai, Xenos, and the young Sensei Wu, were transported to the Realm of Oni and Dragons. While in the Realm of Oni and Dragons, Jay temporarily lost his mind, and they were eventually captured by Dragon Hunters. Hearing Lloyd's voice on the radio, Jay regains his composure and devises a plan to free himself from the Dragon Hunters, designing a mechanical Firstbourne to create a distraction. They manage to escape with Cole and Wu's growing help before meeting a hunter named Faith, who tells them about the Dragon Armor, which they immediately head to. Wu manages to find the armor and becomes the Master of the Golden Dragon, and with the Firstbourne and some other Dragons, they return home to Ninjago to help the Resistance defeat the Colossus (This was Garmadon's giant stone guardian that the Ninja destroyed), while at the same time, Jay is reunited with Nya. Wu about Jay:
When it comes to wit and ingenuity, Jay is second to none. Truly amazing! I met him when he was testing out a pair of wings he'd built himself. It was quite impressive. I immediately recognized the spark within him and knew he had the potential to become a powerful ninja and a great champion of Ninjago. Jay is the Blue Ninja, and his element is Lightning. The Nunchucks of Lightning in his hands will teach any enemy who stands in his way to fear thunder.

He trained under Master Wu to become a ninja alongside Cole, Zane, Kai, Lloyd, and Nya. The group became close friends while battling the Serpentine and the Stone Army, during which time Jay formed a relationship with Kai's sister, Nya. After the Ninja helped Lloyd defeat the Overlord, peace was restored until the Overlord returned and created the Nindroid Army. A love triangle formed between Jay, Nya, and Cole, who remained after Zane's death. The Ninja separated after Zane's death, but when he learned Zane was alive, the Ninja traveled to Chen's Island and entered the Tournament of Elements. Cole made amends with Jay, and the Ninja and the Elemental Masters fought Chen's Army. Soon after, Jay and his friends fought Morro and a legion of cursed ghosts, and they encountered Nadakhan, who had trapped many Ninja within his sword. Jay and Nya fought the Sky Pirates, but when Nya was killed, Jay used his dying wish to undo the recent events. On the Day of the Departed, Jay and his parents were attacked by a reanimated Samukai, whom Jay defeated with the help of Ronin (a useless character who won't be back in Season 10).

Later, the genie notices that Nya bears a striking resemblance to his former love, Delara. When nearly all the ninja were trapped in Nadakhan's blade, he attempted to kidnap Nya to marry her and gain unlimited desires. As a result, his purpose is forgotten, and Nya is possessed by Delara. When Flintlocke attempts to attack Nadakhan with the Tiger Widow, she also strikes Nya, causing her to die. Jay uses his final wish, after which Nya returns to life, the genie returns to the lamp, and all events of the season are erased from history. Only Jay and Nya remember what happened. Season 8: Sons of Garmadon At the beginning of the season, Nya stopped the samurai who were forcing the villagers to work. Later, Lloyd summoned her, after which she maintained order during the Emperor's address to the citizens of Ninjago City. Later, she assisted in the battle against the Sons of Garmadon. When Garmadon was revived, he defeated Lloyd, after which Nya and the others rescued him. When the ninja fought the Colossus, Nya and Mistaké watched over Lloyd, and later Nya fought Garmadon to give Lloyd and young Wu time to escape. When a ghost attempts to steal the First Spinjitzu Master's staff, Nya tries to escape the ghost dragon, but it manages to pierce the ship's hull, and Morro steals the staff. Later, Nya learns of her elemental powers, learning that her mother was a master of Water. While the ninja retrieved the Scroll of Airjitzu and the Sword of Sanctuary, Nya learned to control her power. Later, when the Preeminent and ghost armies took control of the city of Styx, Nya unlocks her true potential, causing a gigantic wave of water to engulf all the ghosts, causing them to "die."

The elemental weapons bring the same agony to the Oni as the golden armor, and the ninja attack, but the Oni keep advancing, when suddenly the ground beneath their feet shifts and Cole, alive and well, jumps out of the ground, taking his Scythe of Earth and attacking the Oni, not forgetting to joke. But eventually the ninja start to lose, when suddenly they are transported to another world along with Garmadon and Wu...

Garmadon refuses to answer this question and distracts the Oni, allowing Lloyd to destroy the crystal. However, this proves a waste of time—the crystal was merely a key. The Chief Oni slams its staff onto the floor, and more Oni emerge from the darkness. Garmadon and Lloyd retreat until they find the Golden Master's armor. The Oni feel agony and retreat from Garmadon and Lloyd, while the two take the Golden Master's armor and escape unharmed.
