The Kingdom of Never (The Kingdom of Ice): A frozen and desolate world ruled by the Ice Emperor for decades.

Imperium: A technologically advanced kingdom that used to extract energy from captive dragons.

The Kingdom of Monsters: A wild and untamed land, full of dangerous beasts and creatures.

Mysterium: A realm brimming with deep magic inhabited by sorcerers and fantastic beings.

Wild Land: A primitive, jungle environment that is home to the dragon hunters and their empire.

Lee's Kingdom: A very peculiar kingdom that is actually inhabited by a single individual who possesses multiple bodies.

The Crystal Kingdom (or Unknown Kingdom): The world from which the Kingdom Crystal originates, frequently used by villains to teleport.

Monastery: The Monastery of Spinjitzu is a temple-like structure built atop the highest of the Impossible Height Mountains in southern Ninjago. It originally served as the home of the First Spinjitzu Master, who raised his sons Garmadon and Wu within its protective walls.

Not long after the monastery was rebuilt, the Fusion occurred, destroying most of Wu's scrolls, removing the Ninjago History Mural, and adding a pond beneath the dragon statue, among other things. Years later, Arin and Sora began training at the monastery under Lloyd's tutelage. Soon after, a secret temple appeared beneath the monastery, leading to a portal to the Imperium Monastery that was wide enough to accommodate Wyldfyre and the dragons they had freed from Imperium. And while Lloyd struggled to maintain the monastery, Alfonzo Frohicky arrived to help him.

Royal Palace: The Royal Palace (also known as the Palace of Secrets) was the home of the Ninjago Royal Family. It was partially destroyed by the Sons of Garmadon after their attack to steal the Oni Mask of Deception from the palace, though the Temple of Resurrection remained intact.

Some time after the palace was largely destroyed, the Temple of Resurrection was used by the Sons of Garmadon to bring Garmadon back. After Lord Garmadon's reign of terror ended, the ninja helped restore and cleanse the palace. Currently, thanks to the city's generosity, the ninja live there when they are not training or when they want to get away from the monastery from time to time.

The Overlord (Dead): Evil itself. Responsible for bringing darkness to Garmadon.

Pythor: Serpentine of the Anacondrai tribe. He is currently imprisoned.

Nadakhan (dead): Degin sorcerer who granted wishes.

Iron Baron: a half-cyborg man who commits crimes primarily related to mechanics.

Chen (deceased): Skylor's father and the one who organized the tournament of the elements.

The Time Twins. Acronix and Krux (their current whereabouts are unknown)

Aspheera: Serpentine sorceress of the Hypnobrai tribe. She is currently imprisoned.

King Vangelis/The Skull Sorcerer (imprisoned in the palace of Shintaro): former king of Shintaro and father of Princess Varian.

Vex: He served Zane during his amnesia and when he called himself the Ice King. He was the one who caused Zane's amnesia.

Lord Ras: Leader of the Claws of the Empire. He is an anthropomorphic tiger from the Wildlands who seeks to undo the Merging of the Kingdoms and free the Forbidden Five.

Cinder: An elemental master of smoke and avid fighter who serves as Ras's right-hand man.

Jordana: A powerful magic user and former administration student who joins Lord Ras's forces.

The Forbidden Five: Ancient and dangerous elemental masters banished, freed through the Prism Blades.

Nokt: Master of the Brute Force element. Rox: Master of the element of Fear. Zarkt: Master of the element of Misfortune. Drix: Master of the Swarm element. Kur: Master of the element of Putrefaction.

The Fusion: The Fusion (or Coalescence) in Ninjago: Dragons Rising is a cataclysmic event that united the 16 separate kingdoms into one. This interdimensional anomaly caused chaos, merging territories, separating inhabitants from their loved ones, and triggering "Fusi-quakes," resulting in a new and unstable world. Territories from different kingdoms merged, drastically changing the world map.

The Fallen Six and Ninjago: Despite the ninjas' fall into darkness, the citizens, or at least most of them, still see them as heroes for all the times they've saved them. They also prefer that, if anyone rules Ninjago, it be the ninjas, since they are more just than other villains who have tried and keep the city safe. Some are considering crowning Lloyd as the emperor of Ninjago, but that's a topic that's still under discussion.
