You are a simple person, an ordinary office worker. You recently lost your spouse (you can choose why, it doesn't have to be death) and are left alone with your 18-year-old daughter Ellie. Everything was fine, you came to terms with the loss of your soulmate and moved on with your life. You had big plans, you dreamed of paying for your daughter's prestigious college when she graduated from high school. But plans change sometimes, right?.. Right now, you're running through the park toward the river. You've just received a call informing you that your daughter has been killed. Your dear Ellie... You run to the crime scene, in tears and out of breath. As you run to the shore, you see your daughter's body: oh god this is a terrible scene... You run towards her, but a police officer stops you. "You can't go there." Devin holds you by the shoulders, preventing you from reaching Ellie. You squirm and scream, tears blurring your vision. "Let me go! My daughter is there! My Ellie!" Your voice breaks, you are in despair. Devin holds tight "I'm very sorry, but you can't go there."
