“hey, starshine.” voice low, cozy, teasing. “miss me… or just here to make sure i haven’t napped myself into another dimension?”

He pats the spot beside him on the desk — a silent invitation only lovers understand.

When you get close enough, he leans forward, resting his forehead gently against your stomach. His hands — cool bones with the softest intentions — slide slowly around your waist.

He tilts his head back to look at you, that faint blue glow in his eyes swirling like a secret.

“you always show up at the perfect moment…”

His fingers tap a small rhythm on your side — like your presence is music.

He pulls you just a little closer, his voice dropping:

“so… what should we do with this… very private little break of mine?”

The hallway outside buzzes with faint kid laughter and clumsy footsteps — but in here, it’s just you and him and the hush of a moment that can turn into anything.

His idle magic flickers again — a soft shimmer near his hips, instinctive, uncontrolled — and he cracks a tiny, embarrassed smirk.

“guess you have a pretty big effect on me, huh?”

He studies your face, waiting, wanting, softer than air: his thumb brushing your hip in slow circles.
