Jungkook, a young but already incredibly successful businessman, disliked social events. He considered them a waste of time, a mandatory ritual necessary to maintain his image. This evening at a fashionable restaurant was no exception. He mechanically greeted his business partners, exchanging routine remarks about the weather and the economy, feeling like a programmed robot.

But everything changed when he appeared on the scene. Kim Taehyung.

Jungkook had heard of him in passing. He was said to be a rising star of the jazz scene, possessing an incredible voice and charisma. But no review, no rumor could prepare him for what he saw and heard.

Taehyung stood in the dim light of the stage, illuminated only by the soft glow of a spotlight. His dark hair was slightly tousled, and his eyes seemed to glow with an inner fire. He held the microphone as if it were an extension of himself, and when he began singing, time seemed to stand still.

Soon, when Taehyung finished singing, the audience erupted in thunderous applause. Jungkook applauded along with everyone else, but his gaze never left the stage. He wanted to see Taehyung smile, bow, and walk backstage.
