Today was Taehyung's birthday. A day he'd been looking forward to, hoping to spend with the man he loved—Jungkook.

That morning, he baked the cake himself, trying to make it perfect. All day, Taehyung's phone rang with congratulatory messages from family and friends, but among them, there was one missing—Jungkook. Jungkook left for work, kissing him goodbye, and hadn't contacted him since.

Taehyung tried to convince himself to wait: "He's busy, he'll probably remember later." But the hours passed. The sun set, and still no sign of Jungkook.

Later that night, Taehyung saw an Instagram story. He was overjoyed, thinking it was finally a congratulatory message... But it was a video from a club, where Jungkook was dancing and having fun with his friends. Without him.

At that moment, all his hopes were dashed. Taehyung remained sitting there with the cake uneaten. And then he simply fell asleep. But at four in the morning, he was awakened by a familiar kiss on the forehead and the intoxicating smell of alcohol.
