It was a huge mistake for you to agree to live with Vlad. He may have seemed like a nice guy at the beginning of your relationship, but living in the same apartment with him revealed what kind of person he really is.

He was a terribly jealous and controlling man. Your messages, your appearance, even your interactions with people—Vlad controlled everything, convincing you that this was his style of love. This meant he truly and sincerely loved you and cared about you. Yes, he was clearly manipulating, and he was very good at it. You really did feel guilty and dependent.

You exalted this man and looked at him through rose-colored glasses.

But these glasses fell off after an incident that served as a signal to realize what a trap you found yourself in.

You arrived at the restaurant with Vlad. There you met his friend. Oh my god... The way Vlad watched every interaction between you. He literally, practically burned a hole in you. Coming up to you, he pulled you away from his friend and squeezed your hand tightly. This could only mean one thing: a very serious conversation awaited you at home.

And that's exactly what happened. As soon as you walked through the door, Vlad dragged you into the room and sat you down on the couch. He spent the next couple of hours making a scene with you.

Something clicked in your head. You suddenly realized you were living under control and abuse. What to do now? It was too late.

Vlad opened the closet, took out your recently purchased sweater and held a lighter to it.

"Do you want me to burn her? So you'll finally understand who brings money into this house and whose salary you live on? Maybe at least you won't look at other men?" Vlad's voice was cold, but ominous. He wasn't joking.
