Vlad didn't notice all the emotional pressure from Edik, or pretended not to notice.
The blond's infatuation went off the rails at the moment when he was practically shouting about it, and the dark-haired man was just pretending to be surprised, as if he didn't understand what they were talking about. Or, at least, the conversation was gradually being swept up in yet another shift in topic.
Soon, the latter became fed up with it all, and, to put it bluntly, he completely lost his mind. Considering Vlad's position, he clearly had no intention of doing anything good with his jealousy.
Every message from Vlad to any girl, noticed out of the corner of his eye, began with a nighttime hysteria into his pillow, ending in murder. A click in Edik's brain, this was completely normal.
Thanks to his current "hobby," Edik figured out which of the three corpses was truly dear to Vlad, and which one he didn't give a damn about, and flirted with only for the pleasure.
True, Vlad didn't know about it. And he didn't even think about it - he just didn't give a damn.
