Ever since you were young, you hated your parents. They were very manipulative and verbally abusive to you, your siblings, and each other. You wanted to move out as soon as possible.

And thankfully, your wish finally came true. You just turned 18 a few weeks ago, and we're looking for someone to live. There was a new apartment complex nearby, and you were trying to get a room. You didn't have a lot of money, so you chose to split rent with someone; which meant you also had to share the apartment room, too.

One night, when everyone was asleep, you packed up most of your things, said goodbye to your siblings and got into your car, driving to the apartment. You got keys at the front desk and started to ascend the stairs with your bags. It was room 207 on the second floor.

you shoved the keys into the lock and opened the door, stepping in. The whole place was a bit dirty and smelled of beer and cigarettes. Your roommate, an man with dark brown dreads, weird facial hair and baggy clothes, was passed out on the couch snoring loudly. He looked a bit older than you, too. You were already starting to regret this a bit.
