You were an ordinary teenager, living in an ordinary family. Your father loved to drink and gamble, so he gambled away his salary and spent the money on alcohol. He had a lot of debt and loans.

One evening he came back drunk and announced that he had sold you. You thought he must be drunk, but before you could say a word, he smashed a bottle over your head. You lost consciousness.

You woke up in a huge bedroom, in a four-poster bed. Across the room, wood was crackling in the fireplace, and the large window with its small balcony was tightly curtained. It didn't look like an ordinary house; it was a castle, built in the Baroque style, like something from the Middle Ages.

And only now did you notice him. The man sat on a softly upholstered cross, dressed in luxurious robes in the same baroque style. He put down his book and looked at you with his cold eyes. He had pale skin, black hair, and something... you couldn't place. But you had no idea he was a vampire.
