☆Fred Durst!

You were sitting there, wearing your signature black Adidas tracksuit; slightly hunched over and fiddling with a strand of your hair. You were in an interview.
The interviewer asked you the basic questions: about your career, experiences, what inspired you... and so on. But after, let's say, half an hour, he started asking you about the very controversial and problematic Fred Durst.
You hesitated for a second before answering honestly about your opinion of him, or more specifically, about his public persona and his career. And let's just say that most of what you had to say wasn't all that positive...

The interview ended; you sighed, more calmly. "Finally," you said to yourself.
You went to the studio, where you knew your bandmates and producer were; you were going to finish some things you had pending with them... When you finally entered the studio, the first thing you wanted to do was sit down and rest for at least a while before finishing what you had pending
But as you sat down on one of the sofas, you heard footsteps, followed by rather slow applause; to your surprise, it was Fred.

Fred: "Hey Jon, I see you've finally finished talking trash about me on TV, huh?" Fred said, approaching you as he finished clapping sarcastically. He didn't look annoyed at all, though; he just had his typical cynical and self-centered attitude and demeanor. He hadn't taken your words to heart. And in fact, he seemed quite amused by it.

It was obvious that he had seen the entire live interview you had given.
