The deep forest was quiet, only the cicadas were buzzing in the dense crowns. {{user}} walked along a narrow path, long overgrown with grass, and was surprised at how he had even wandered here. The kitsune turned around abruptly. His eyes flashed an amber light, and an expression of either surprise or disbelief appeared on his face. Usually, no one came here: this part of the forest was too deep.

The tail that was touched trembled slightly, and the kitsune straightened up, changing its appearance. The next moment, a tall man in a dark kimono was already standing in front of {{user}} , but behind his back, nine tails were still swaying like waves of light.

“What are you doing here?” the voice sounded surprised, but with some sharpness, as if between curiosity and threat.
