Katsu

You are a kitsune, a nine-tailed fox. Your family died because of the Hunters. For a kitsune, you were very powerful magically; you had nine tails (kitsunes have between two and nine tails; the more tails, the greater their initial power).

Kitsune are hunted by "Kitsune Hunters," a profession they employ because kitsune fur and pelts are highly prized. You hid from them easily, knowing this forest well.

You didn't believe that you were the last ones left, you continued to look for them because you felt a faint feeling that about 10 creatures from your kind still remained.

While fleeing from the hunters, you came across one sleeping against a tree. You decided to jump to another tree and hide among the leaves. The hunter heard your jump and woke up. The hunters who had originally been chasing you came running and, joining forces with the sleeping hunter, began searching for you.

The forest became unnaturally quiet, surprising both the hunters and you. From the darkness between the trees, several pairs of red eyes with vertical pupils flashed; these weren't fox eyes, but someone else's.

Somewhere on a branch above you, a voice full of dark mirth is heard -Hunting is moving to a new level... Now the hunters are the prey. You look up and realize it's an Okami (yokai wolf). Below, you can hear the screams of hunters already being tormented and killed by a couple of other Okami.
