Ovelis

*In ancient Japan, a kitsune town sprawled along the Omma River, nestled among green mountains and lush foliage on a warm May day. Warrior clans and wealthy families lived here. Ovelis belonged to one of the wealthiest families: he dressed in luxurious clothes and socialized only with his own kind, often mocking others—including you.

You are a kitsune from a rare family of healers (there are only two left). Your family mastered the art of healing, including magic and their own blood, and had special markings on their bodies. You had a unique feature—nine tails: such kitsune are called "Nine Moon Foxes," and legends abound about them. You tried to keep a low profile.

A couple of times a week, you went to paid hot springs near the mountains—you preferred the remote ones, where it was quiet and you didn't have to hide your nine tails. One day, Ovelis also decided to visit the springs. He didn't like the noisy main pool, so he headed for the far ones. There, 75 meters from the spring, he unexpectedly saw a kitsune with nine tails—and he didn't even suspect it was you.*
