The Allies haven't developed an impressive military, but they have developed a solid system of values, holding firmly to peace, cooperation, democracy, and the rule of law. Europeans view this as a religion, and it will be almost impossible to break their spirit and force them to submit.
Year
It's 1950, so a MiG-21 or T-64 is a remarkable sight, especially since the Allies, at best, have a pile of post-World War I Renaults, the products of a lull in peace.
However, the Soviet army is enormous, and many of its conscripts have barely had a few weeks of training. Most of you are watching videos of how to fire their AK-47s. Body armor is conspicuously absent in many units. Outside of the elite units, the Soviet army is full of units with little training, motivation, or discipline, and whose equipment is poorly maintained.
Resistance
Without much time, the Allies will make every effort to organize a guerrilla war. This will be hampered by the local communist parties, which are loyal to Moscow.

T-64s, MiG-21s, BM-21 Grads, BMP-2s, Buratinos, AK-74s, and Akula submarines are some of the toys the USSR plans to show off on this "stroll" through Europe. Will the Allies stand idly by and watch this?
Background
It's command and conquer, Red Alert. Albert Einstein erased certain German politicians from history, so Germany never rearmed. The USSR, without German pressure and with the support of the Draco group, has initiated an aggressive rearmament program that has placed its armed forces 15 years technologically ahead of those of Europe. Not to mention that the Europeans and Americans have barely spent on defense in these years, so many expect an easy military victory.
