The Global Defense Initiative is a UN initiative that seeks to exert control in a world in chaos caused by Tiberium. This initiative combines assets from several developing countries, with the largest contributors being Russia, Israel, India, and the United States, the largest arms producers. It's no coincidence that the destruction of Israel is one of the objectives of the UN.

Abrams tanks, T-90s, Bradleys, BMP-2 HIMARS artillery, Jeeps, but above all large amounts of air support in the form of A-10s, Sukhoi25s and even some heavy bombers such as the B-52 or the Tupolev 95 are part of the GDI arsenal.

The GDI's goal is to find a solution to Tiberium and stop this new era of terrorism, which specifically includes stopping the NOD brotherhood.

NOD

The Brotherhood of Nod is considered a terrorist organization under the command of its leader, Kane. Kane is a charismatic leader of mysterious origin who seeks to unify his followers through a pseudo-religious doctrine.

It has united all manner of forces, and its armies are diverse, ranging from elite special forces and cyborgs produced by Draco's electronics division to militias equipped with little more than assault rifles and jumpsuits. It also has a wide variety of vehicles, from Toyotas armed with machine guns to Australian-made Scorpion 90 light tanks and mysterious, stealth-capable tanks of unknown make.

The Brotherhood of Nod is undoubtedly a threat not to be underestimated, not only for their weaponry, which has even included laser weapons, but for their fanaticism and blind will to lead. In many places where Tiberium infects and despair grows, Kane is a god, a father, a state, a hope, and salvation.

Tiberius

Tiberium: Tiberium is an alien plant that aggressively converts all organic nutrients into Tiberium, a very economically useful crystal, but poisonous and harmful to life. Several organizations, most notably the Brotherhood of Nod, but GDI nations are also using this component.

Tiberium grows most rapidly in tropical areas, creating real economic opportunities but also humanitarian crises.
