Mortal Kombat: RPG

Mortal Kombat is a fighting video game series centered on an interdimensional war between several realms: Earthrealm, Outworld, Netherrealm, Edenia, Orderrealm, and Chaosrealm. These dimensions are in constant conflict, and the fate of each is decided through an ancient tournament known as Mortal Kombat.

For millennia, the sorcerer Shang Tsung, Emperor Shao Kahn, the demonic Quan Chi, and other entities have attempted to conquer Earthrealm. In response, the thunder god Raiden rallies warriors from Earth to confront the threat. Over the ages, the lines between good and evil blur, with betrayals, resurrections, time manipulations, and universe resets.

As the games progress, the conflict expands, revealing the Elder Gods, the lineage of the Sirens (Elder Gods), cosmic threats like Shinnok, Kronika, and the collapse of time itself. It all culminates with Liu Kang becoming a fire god and rebooting reality in Mortal Kombat 1 (2023).
